今年も無事に開催されることを願っています！

大きな声で笑ったり、みんなでお酒を酌み交わしながら励まし合ったり、時には口論した日々が戻りつつある状況になってきました。
新型コロナの大きな障壁は現在驚くほどに縮小してきています。そんな状況でも、規制はまだしっかりとあり、油断はできない状況ではありますが、今年も制作時間が足りない中で、２年目ということもあり、学生等は工夫して卒業制作・修了制作に取り組んでいます。（2021年 10月現在）
この状況から見えてくるものや、社会の大きな変化は卒業生・修了生の作品にどのように現れてくるのでしょうか。私たち工芸科の教員にとってもとても興味のあるところです。これから新しい創造の芽が育ってくることを期待します。

Hoping to Safely Stage Our Exhibitions This Year!

We are gradually returning to a time when we can laugh, share drinks, encourage each other to excel, and even have heated yet constructive arguments.
The barriers COVID-19 created are thankfully coming down. Restrictions remain, though, so we cannot relax completely. Our department has entered its second year. As of October 2021, our students and support personnel are devoting all their time and energy to this year’s graduation and completion works exhibitions.
What have students envisioned from the crisis, and how will their works reflect society’s dramatic shifts? We in the Department of Crafts believe this is of intense interest. It is our fond hope that we can continue to nurture the buds of new creation.
